Easy Way To Make Dum Biryani At Your home 


Chicken Dum Biryani is a popular Indian dish made with cooked rice, chicken, and a variety of spices. The dish is traditionally prepared by layering the ingredients in a large pot and allowing it to cook slowly, or "dum," over low heat.

To make Chicken Dum Biryani, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 pound chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Place the rice in a pot with 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked.

  2. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until it is soft and translucent. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for another minute.

  3. Add the chicken to the pan and cook until it is no longer pink. Stir in the cumin, coriander, turmeric, and garam masala.

  4. Add the water to the pan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

  5. Add the cooked rice and peas to the pan and stir to combine. Cover the pan and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
